7 Days trip from Karachi to Murree

(Using Train & Taxi)​

Murree is a hill station in the province of Punjab, Pakistan and is exceedingly popular with Pakistani families. Bordered with Azad Kashmir, it is cool in summer with chilly evening and completely hides under the thick blanket of snow in winters. There are two main routes to Murree from Islamabad, the old Islamabad-Murree road that takes almost 1.30 hours to reach Murree and the other is Islamabad-Murree Expressway that takes a 1-hour drive, but the old Islamabad-Murree road is more scenic and adventurous. There are many places of interests like Patriata, Ayubia, Nathiagali and Bhurban near Murree, and is an ideal place for a family getaway and vacation. Murree has a variety of handicraft shops selling souvenir for the tourist to remind them of their visit to this hill station. Traditional clothing items, head wear, carved walking sticks, jewellery items and leather goods are abundantly available along the famous Mall road. There are many hotels ranging from 1 star to 5 stars and numbers of restaurants for the visitor.

Day 1:

  • Pack Suitcases and go to Karachi Railway Station.

  • Get on the train and enjoy the journey.

 

Day 2:​

  • Get off at Rawalpindi/Islamabad Station.

  • Night stay in Rawalpindi/Islamabad.

 

Day 3:

  • Pack your luggage, hire a taxi for Murree and leave Rawalpindi/Islamabad early in the morning.

  • Rent a room and drop luggage in the room.

  • Go directly to Pathriyata.

  • Visit Kashmir Point, Pindi Point, Neelam River Side, Bhurban

  • Visit and roam around Mall Road in the evening.

  • Night stay at Murree

Day 4:

  • Pack your luggage and leave for Ayubia.

  • Go to Nathiagali. Rent a room and drop luggage in the room.

  • Visit and roam around in Nathiagali.

  • Night stay at Nathiagali.

Day 5:

  • Pack your luggage and leave for Rawalpindi/Islamabad.

  • Rent a room and drop luggage in the room.

  • Hire a Taxi and visit Faisal Mosque, National Assembly, Shakarpariyan, Pir Sohawa, Daman-e-Koh.

  • Night stay in Rawalpindi/Islamabad.

 

Day 6:

  • Pack Suitcases and go to Rawalpindi Railway Station.

  • Ride on Train and enjoy the journey.

Day 7:

  • Get off at Karachi Station.

  • Back to Home Sweet Home.
